Karen discovered her passion for helping small businesses and individuals in 2017 when she began her career in the employer sponsored retirement plan industry. Eager to further develop personal relationships based on trust, she joined Hutchinson Financial in 2019 as a financial advisor.
Karen earned the CPFA designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) in 2021. She believes in comprehensive financial planning to set and achieve financial goals and that collaboration with other financial professionals uncovers strategies not derived when working alone . Karen takes great pride in her ability to educate her clients in a relatable way, which leads to long term, meaningful relationships.
Karen lives in North Kingstown with her son and Australian Shepherd. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor recreation, reading, cooking, and watching the Boston Bruins. She treasures spending time with her son and family. Karen is especially proud of her brother, a 3rd Generation US Army Combat Veteran.
